DR. DAVID EDWARDS
Anderson dentist David Irvin Edwards, Sr., 77, died Sunday in Mercy H
ospital.
An Anderson resident since 1950, Dr. Edwards was born March 20, 189
1 in Los Angeles. He was a graduate of the College of the Pacific an
d the University of California.
He served as a captain in the U.S. Army Dental Corps during World Wa
r I and remained in the service for three years following the end of t
he war.
Dr. Edwards was a member of the Anderson Rotary Club, the Methodist C
hurch and a 50-year member of the Westwood Masonic Lodge 501.
