MARRIED.
WEMPLE--LINDSAY.--In San Francisco September, 12th 1899, Orlo E. Wempl
e of Milford, and Miss Erma D Lindsay of San Francisco.
The San Francisco Examiner gives the following account of the wedding.
A very pretty wedding took place at noon yesterday at the home of Mr
. and Mrs. O. A. Lindsay, the contracting parties being their only dau
ghter, Miss Erma D. Lindsay, and Orlo E. Wimple [sic], a cattleman o
f Milford, Lassen County. Only the immediate relatives of the young co
uple witnessed the ceremony, but at the reception which followed in th
e evening their friends were present to offer congratulations.
Miss Clara M. Dobbins of Rio Vista was bridesmaid and the groom was at
tended by his brother, Frank O. Wemple.
The bride was attired in rich organdie over silk, with corsage bouque
t of orange blossoms, and a spray of the same flowers in her hair. He
r bouquet was of bride´s roses.
The bridesmaid wore pink organdie over silk and carried pink carnation
s.
Mr. and Mrs. Wemple leave next week for their home in Milford.
