Nadene Wemple Becomes Bride of Leroy Kayser in Reno Ceremony.

Miss Nadene Wemple, 19, and Leroy Kayser, 22, were married in Reno, Ne
vada, Thursday, August 18, at 8 o´clock p.m. at the home of the Revera
nd Brewster Adams. The ceremony was preformed by the Reverand Willia
m K. Sempey in the presence of a few close friends and relatives of th
e couple. Miss Naomi Wemple, twin sister of the bride and Eugene Kayse
r, brother of the bridegroom, were their only attendants.

This lovely and attractive bride chose to be married in a navy blue su
it with matching accessories, and an orchid corsage, while her siste
r wore a brown outfit.

Immediately following the ceremony a wedding supper was served at th
e Colombo Cafe to the entire wedding part which included: Mr and Mrs
. Leroy Kayser, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Wemple, Phyllis and Frank Wemple o
f Wendel, Mr. and Mrs. G.E. Kayser and Eugene Kayser of Stockton, Mrs
. N.V. Wemple and Mrs. Naomi Wemple of Sacramento, Mr. and Mrs. Lyle W
emple and Dana, Mr. and Mrs. Lester Davis, Fred Deal, Marion Larrea an
d Jack Marden, all of Susanville, Mr. and Mrs E.H. Shoupe, Mr. and Mrs
. William Bronson and Mrs. Myron Bronson, all of Reno, Mr. and Mrs Har
ry Maritzen of San Francisco.
Mr. and Mrs. Kayser are graduates of the Lassen Union High School an
d were among the most popular members of Susanville´s younger set. Th
e new Mrs. Kayser has been employed by the Board of Equalization in Sa
cramento, but has now accepted a government position. The bridegroom e
nlisted in the Maritime Service and will return to his duties on Septe
mber the first, his bride will remain in Sacramento. The couple are ho
neymooning at Lake Tahoe.

Nadene W. Kayser, a longtime resident of Alameda and member of a pione
er Northern California family passed away on September 26, 1999. Sh
e was born in Susanville, California. She is survived by her husban
d of 57 years, Leroy Kayser and her two children, Lindsay and Steven
, six grandsons and
many loving family members. She was preceded in death by her identica

twin, Naomi.

Friends are invited to attend memorial to celebrate her life on Friday
, October 1st, at the Bay Fairway Hall, 300 Island Drive, Alameda fro
m 2 - 4 PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the char
ity of your choice.
